Capital Introductions


Compensation

vCap Investments allocates capital to portfolio managers as an investor, vCap Funds, 3rd party advisors and allocators or by introducing prospective accredited investors to the portfolio manager. For introducing capital, we are compensated by sharing directly in the portfolio manager’s management or performance.

Additionally, as a part of the capital introduction process, portfolio managers may be required to maintain trading and clearing accounts with vCap affiliated companies, vCap Futures and vCap FX. These affiliates would receive compensation the portfolio managers clearing and execution business.

In establishing a capital introducing arrangement with vCap Investments as well as clearing and trading arrangements with its affiliates, it is critical that the portfolio manager understands the factors that may have an impact on the success of the capital raising campaign. We want to stress that this is a partnership – we both must do our part to be successful. Philosophically, we believe that it is important that the expectations of both parties be reasonable. As such, we are willing to work with our partners to devise benchmarks for measuring fund raising success relative to the investment success of the funds we introduce capital to or invest in.
